This little downtown alley had 8 lanes. It was once operated by Richard S. Beechler, who also owned the Eaton Theatre. There were lots of smaller cities who had lanes like this. It appears these lanes go back to the early 60's or before. There were scores being listed in the papers as late as the 1990's for this alley. As of 2024, this one is operating as Club Fitness. The wood from 5 of the lanes lives on at Abie's Bar in the form of tables.
