I would estimate State Lanes goes back to the 1960's. It closed sometime within the last few years (as of 2023). It appears it was demolished sometime after 2019. There is a Tommy's Car Wash near where the old bowling alley once stood. That area was chock full of vintage joints. Stardust, Mooney's Ice Cream, the Texan Restaurant, etc. I put up a photo of Stardust here because the sign was sweet.
