Wold's goes back to the 1950's although there was a wing added later. Back in those days, there weren't as many houses around the site. Today, it sits in a residential area which is interesting. It is still operating as of 2023. The place was originally run by Kenneth and Virginia Wold and the address in those days was 825 E. Bennett. This was also known as Gannon's Motel.
