The Rainbow seems to go back to the 50's or 60's in the Silver City area. It included cabins and a standard motel building and was run by the Aho family in the early days. The motel structure was demolished sometime around 2012 but there is a cabin business operating on the site as of 2023 and the reviews are excellent. The setting looks very nice. I also found a postcard from the Rainbow Motel and Chalets at 2900 M-64 in Ontonagon. The look of the motel and name are similar so for now I will assume they are the same. That version was run by Bob and Nancy Tomlinson.
