The Gladstone opened in 1953 and was operated by Mr. and Mrs. Harry Markham then. They sold it to Mr. and Mrs. John Gustafson in 1959. It was later operated by Lyle and Ruth Sanford who sold it to Don and Barbara Lacroix in 1976. This motel is still operating as of 2022.
