This long forgotten oval track was closed sometime in the late 60s or early 70s. Some structures remain, as does part of the cement retaining wall that once encircled the track. There is also a sloped area that was either the high banking track area or possibly was the location of the grandstand. There was once a race car perched on top of the unique concrete pillars that marks the old entrance of the facility. The site is very overgrown with weeds and resides within walking distance of the Zilwaukee bridge. I am using an address that is just north of where the old track was. The outline can barely still be seen on the aerial map.
